What is Blackboard?

Blackboard is an e-learning software platform that allows delivery of courses through the Internet.  Blackboard offers a set of robust tools, functions and features for interactive learning.  Using these features, you can read announcements, access course materials and assignments, take tests, submit completed assignments and communicate with other students and the instructor.  This allows flexibility for today's busy students who would otherwise be unable to attend due to a rigid schedule.
